Rental Information and Rules

Space rental must be paid for at time of collection. Credit, partial payment or deferred payment of space
rental is not permitted. Non-payment at time of collection will result in Vendor=s removal from the
premises and banning from future set up. There will be NO REFUNDS OF PAID RENTALS. Vendor=s
obligation to pay occurs as soon as Vendor has set up merchandise and the Flea Market opens for the
day (6:30am). NON PAYMENT OF RENTAL WILL RESULT IN PROSECUTION OF VENDOR FOR THEFT
OF SERVICES AND BANNING FROM FUTURE SET UP AT THE MARKET.


$ The Payment of Rent Constitutes a Contract between Vendor and Quakertown Farmers Market and
Flea Market. Vendor thereby agrees to adhere to the Market Rules and Regulations.


$ Outdoor Vendors bringing in large items such major appliances, tires or furniture will be charged an
additional $10.00 per piece Security Deposit and will be collected with Rent. Security Deposits will be
refunded upon verification that the item(s) have been removed from the property at the end of the day.


$ At no time are Market Tables permitted in the Tail Gate area. Vendors may not remove, re-arrange or
relocate tables provided in the Flea Market Table areas.


$ All Vendors, both Indoor and Outdoor are required to keep their area clean and free of hazards. No one is
permitted to leave or discard merchandise, boxes or cartons on Market property. ALL TRASH MUST BE
REMOVED FROM MARKET PROPERTY BY VENDORS EACH DAY. NO TRASH IS TO BE LEFT BEHIND
OR DISPOSED OF IN MARKET TRASH REMOVAL DUMPSTERS OR TRASH CANS.


$ Vendors may not place items for display or sale in front of tables, out of their designated area or in any
walkway or path. Aisle, walkways and paths are to be kept clear for Customer traffic at all times.


$ Vendor=s will conduct themselves in a professional, courteous manner at all times. The use of loud,
profane or abusive language is not permitted. THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, BY
VENDORS AT ANY TIME ON MARKET PROPERTY IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. ANY VENDOR FOUND
CONSUMING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE REMOVED FROM MARKET PROPERTY BY SECURITY
AND WILL LOOSE THEIR SALES LOCATION AND BE BANNED FROM FUTURE SELLING AT THE
MARKET.
$ No overnight parking or camping is permitted on Market property. Vendors may not store or leave
merchandise on tables overnight. All items MUST be removed on a daily basis. Vendors must vacate the
Market grounds at the closing of business each day.


$ The Reservation of Outdoor Space is permitted on a (4) four week advanced payment basis only. Outdoor
Space may not be reserved on a day to day or week to week basis. Unless otherwise RESERVED, Spaces
are Rented on a First Come/First Serve basis. Reserved space not set up to do business by 9 am by the
Renter will be forfeited and may be re-rented. The outdoor Flea Market opens daily at 6:30am for set up.
Management will not recognize or honor the saving of spaces by any person.


$ THE SALE OF FIREARMS, AMMUNITION, EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS, CHEMICALS, PORNOGRAPHIC or
OFFENSIVE MATERIALS, PLANTS OR FLOWERS (unless home grown by Vendor), LIVESTOCK, PETS,
DRUGS OR DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, FIREWORKS, PIERCING OR ANY
SERVICE THAT MAY BE DEEMED OFFENSIVE BY MANAGEMENT IS ADDITIONALLY STRICTLY
PROHIBITED. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO HAVE ANY ITEM OR ITEMS REMOVED
FROM SALE AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION.


$ Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold the Market harmless against all claims for injury and damage to
persons and/or property arising from or in anyway related to Vendor=s rental of space from Quakertown
Farmers Market and Flea Market. Vendor assumes all risk and liability for injury, damage or loss due to
theft, accident or negligence. Vendor is responsible to carry the appropriate insurance for their business.


$ Vendors are responsible to collect and report the appropriate sales tax where applicable.


$ No open foods, food carts or food vending (including hot or cold drinks such as coffee, soda or juice) are
permitted. Vendors may not sell or give away soda, juices, cold or hot drinks at any time.


$ Vendor=s at no time may sub-let or sub-divide rental space.


$ Indoor Flea Market Vendors Must Maintain Minimum Operation/Open Hours- Friday 5:30pm to 8:30pm,
Saturday 9:00am to 8:30pm and Sunday 10:00am to 4:30pm. Vendors may be open all of the hours the
Market is open to the Public, however all Indoor Flea Market Merchants Must be open these hours.
Failure to maintain these minimum hours will result in 1ST Offense- Warning, 2ND Offense- Fine of $5.00,
3 RD and/or subsequent Offense- Fine of $10.00 and possible eviction from rental space.


$ Indoor Flea Market Vendors are at no time permitted the use of Hot Plates, Space Heaters, Coffee Pots or
refrigerators within the Indoor Flea Market. Use of such items will result in immediate eviction and
banning from the Market.


$ Vendors may not permit their children to be about the Market property unsupervised. Failure to properly
supervise children will result in Vendor being banned from selling at Market.


$ Vendors Indoor and Outdoor are not permitted to have animals of any type (excludes personal assistance
animals) with them on Market Property while vending.


$ Indoor Flea Market Vendors are Not permitted to Smoke within the Indoor Flea Market buildings.
Smoking within the Indoor Flea Market buildings will result in Fines and possible termination of rental.
VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE POLICIES, PROCEDURES, AND RULES MAY RESULT, BUT WILL NOT BE
LIMITED TO FINES, BANNING, EXPULSION AND PROSECUTION.
VENDORS MUST POST RECEIPT AT SPACE IN PLAIN VIEW AT ALL TIMES.
VENDORS MUST REMOVE ALL TRASH FROM PREMISES AT END OF EACH DAY
